While one facet of SP work is aiding in building Medical Students' patient examination skills, there's also a key part of SP work where SPs help Students educate and skill build on how to handle difficult and uncomfortable interactions with patients.

Cliff McMullen has been active in the arts, primarily acting, for approximately twenty years. A native Washingtonian, he as studied his craft locally and in New York. His theatre training is a combination of Shakespearean and contemporary theatre. He received his A.A. from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York and has studied at the Folger Theatre in Washington, D.C., along with many regional and improvisational groups.
